Dandelion Root | Tincture |

Tinctures have been used for centuries as a natural and effective way of receiving the benefits of earth’s herbs, berries, roots, and barks. A good tincture will brew for between 4-7 weeks in organic alcohol, which is a natural preservative and the best method for pulling all of the therapeutic properties out of the herbs and into liquid form. Tinctures are potent yet convenient and easy to use at home or on the go.

Our tinctures are always made in intimate batches and receive special care and attention each and every day. They are kept in a dark, cool & magick-laden loft and only come out on the full moon when they are included in ritual moon blessings. They are also often sung to by various singing bowls. Tinctures have a special place in our hearts and we, therefore, utilize ultimate care and consideration for ours. Because they will be used for healing and energizing your sacred temple, each batch is tested & tasted to assure quality & potency. Your tincture will keep for a few years if kept out of direct sunlight!

Dandelion Root ♥

Dandelion: “Taraxacum officinale”; which means the “Official Remedy for Disorders.”
To most people, Dandelions are pesky weeds which sprout up in lawns and gardens without consideration. To us and herb lovers everywhere, however, Dandelion is respected and invited as every part of them can be harvested and used for good. Dandelion root, in particular, offers itself as a formidable Spring tonic – a cleanser of the body from the inside out.

Dandelion root contains excellent levels of Vitamins A, C, D, and B Complex. It also contains Iron, Magnesium, zinc, potassium, manganese, copper, choline, calcium, boron, and silicon. These levels combined make Dandelion root one of the best-known blood builders and purifiers. One of the most helpful traits of Dandelion root is its ability to cleanse the liver, spleen, pancreas, kidneys and the entire urinary tract. *For chronic UTI sufferers: it is said that taking dandelion root twice daily will significantly decrease the likelihood of recurrent UTI’s*.

Dandelion root contains all of the nutritive salts for the blood, therein restoring and balancing blood levels which in turn balances more than one might think. Of note: Hormones. Dandelion root is a wonderful tool for balancing estrogen and hormone levels in general, while strengthening the female organs. It also speeds up the breakdown of steroid hormones; both of which can and will help with skin disorders. For those with IBS or similar ailments, Dandelion root may also aid in digestion and the breakdown of fats in the stomach.

This underrated and overlooked herb has plenty to offer to a wide range of people with a wide range of needs. If you’re looking for an all-natural & safe way to cleanse your body, our Dandelion root tincture is probably for you.

Tinctures can be taken a few ways:
The most common way is to take drops directly under the tongue. This is the fastest & most effective method of absorption. Some prefer to put a dropper-full in a glass of water or hot tea/coffee to minimize the taste & burn of the alcohol. Both methods are completely safe & completely up to you!
